Still Waiting

Big Bird is still waiting. He is doing ok. I think the antibiotics have all left his system, so now he is getting back to his "normal". Big Bird and Mom are heading to San Antonio tomorrow for his clinic follow up. They will redo his blood work, and meet with the hep doc just to keep things up to date. I will post when I know something. I will email his nurse for blood work results since they never seem to know it there.

i find it great how you take care and comfort your brother..! Also i find your humour quite refreshing.

I hope that Big Bird will soon get "the call", sp that he then finally can live the good life he deserves, and enjoy the feeling of "health" once again

Adventures in Big Bird's Liver World is an account of the daily adventures, trials, frustrations and workings of living with PSC. My brother, aka Big Bird, was diagnosed with PSC in 2000, after battleing UC for many years. He was listed for a transplant in May 2007. We now await the infamous "call". In the mean time, this is where we vent, poise questions and ramble about life, doctor appointments, illness, good days & bad days.
