As you are well aware, SA did an ERCP with stent placement back in July. A month later, Big Bird was in the hospital-in ICU with a Cholangitis Infection.
This morning, they leave a message on the answering machine, they want to schedule another ERCP. WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THEY THINKING?????????????
Big Bird called his nurse, waiting on a call back, if that doesn't go anywhere, we are calling his local doc and having him call and have a chat. Are they trying to make him sicker?????

Is it possible they just want to change or remove the stent? It's been almost 3 months hasn't it? Maybe you can ask them to put him on Cipro several days before he goes back in.

They removed the stent back in August when he was in the hospital. They had to even remove it earlier than they wanted to because he just kept getting sicker, even on the antibiotics. It wasn't until after the stent removal they were finally able to control the fever. Then to top that off, The nurse Dusty talked to Friday had no record of the hospital stay in August, his Nurse Cord went on materinty leave (found that out by calling to ask about the whole ERCP scheduling)...ARG
